  • 1 pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur such as Cointreau
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 20 whole cloves

Step 1Place the pineapple pieces in a deep dish. Add the liqueur, lime juice, sugar and cloves. Mix, cover and chill for at least 1 hour and up to several hours (but pineapple will darken overnight).

Each of 8 servings:
67 calories; 0 protein; 14 grams carbohydrates; 1 gram fiber; 0 fat; 0 saturated fat; 0 cholesterol; 1 mg. sodium.
