  • 1 (16-ounce) container low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh tarragon
  • 2 tablespoons snipped chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash white pepper
  • 8 slices rye toast

Step 1Combine the cottage cheese, dill, tarragon, chives, salt and white pepper in a small bowl. Spread about 1/4 cup of the cottage cheese mixture on each slice of warm toast.

Each serving:
72 calories; 348 mg sodium; 5 mg cholesterol; 1 gram fat; 1 gram saturated fat; 6 grams carbohydrates; 8 grams protein; 0.46 gram fiber.
