Total time: 10 minutes | Serves 9 to 12
  • 6 tablespoons tahini, stirred in the jar until blended before measuring
  • 3 tablespoons water, more if needed
  • 6 tablespoons date honey (also known as silan or date molasses) or bee honey, more if desired

Step 1Spoon the tahini into a small bowl. Add the water and stir until smooth. Stir in the date honey and continue stirring until the sauce is smooth. Taste, and add more date honey if you would like the sauce to be sweeter. Stir in more water by teaspoons if the sauce is too thick. This makes about three-fourth cup of sauce. Serve at room temperature.
