- 1 shallot, minced
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup lemon-flavored vodka
- 1 tablespoon minced chives
- 1 teaspoon minced cilantro
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1 dozen small oysters, shucked
Step 1Soak the minced shallot in the vinegar in a medium bowl for about 15 minutes. Stir in the vodka, chives, cilantro, salt and pepper; mix well.
Step 2Place 1 oyster in each of 12 shot glasses. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the vodka mixture into each glass. Fill a large bowl, about 4 to 6 inches deep, with crushed ice and insert each shot glass decoratively into the ice. Serve immediately.
