  • Ice cubes
  • 2 ounces rye whiskey
  • 1 ounce sweet red vermouth
  • 2 to 4 dashes Angostura, Peychaud's or orange bitters
  • Twist of lemon peel

Step 1Place the ice cubes in a mixing glass. Add the whiskey, vermouth and bitters, and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with lemon.
