Total time: 15 minutes | Serves 4
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup apples, diced small
  • 1 cup celery, diced small
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 head butter lettuce, leaves washed and trimmed

Step 1Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream and lemon juice.

Step 2In a separate bowl, combine the apples and celery. Stir the mayonnaise mixture into the apples and celery.

Step 3Spoon into lettuce cups or onto a bed of lettuce leaves. Sprinkle with the walnuts and serve.

Each serving:
257 calories; 4 grams protein; 10 grams carbohydrates; 3 grams fiber; 24 grams fat; 4 grams saturated fat; 14 mg. cholesterol; 114 mg. sodium.
