Total time: 10 minutes | Serves 6
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (1-pound) package frozen green lima beans
  • 1 (1-pound) package frozen peas
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Step 1Bring the water to boil and add the lima beans and peas. Cook them until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain the vegetables and place them in a serving bowl.

Step 2Cook the mushrooms in the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until tender, 5 to 6 minutes.

Step 3Pour over the hot vegetables. Season with salt and serve at once.
